A total of 15 Ashdown High School students received checks from the Margaret Daniel Education Foundation for their hard work and who scored either a 3, 4 or 5 on one or more of the Advanced Placement tests. The total amount given to the students was $1,650.00.

This is the third year that the Foundation has awarded the AP Scholars. Today board member Kari Harger, treasurer, presented the checks to students at their Foundation meeting.

Students that receive 3, 4 or 5 will receive college credit for the class(es) – AP teachers Stephanie Ringgold and Jeannie Jackson were at the meeting to congratulate the students. Mrs. Anderson and Mr. Hopkins along with the AP teachers worked very hard along side the students to accomplish these honors.
