Andrew L. “Zeke” Wilder ~ El Paso, Texas

Andrew L. “Zeke” Wilder, 68, of El Paso, Texas, died Thursday, January 25, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Wilder was born February 6, 1949, in Foreman, Ark., to the late Aula Watson-Wilder and Matthew Wilder Sr. He attended public school in Foreman, Ark. Upon graduation in 1967, he joined the military service where he reached the rank of sergeant first class by the time he retired. He spent most of his retired years in El Paso, Texas, where he was a faithful member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sisters, Mattie Wilder of Little Rock, Ark., and Dorothy Barr of Dayton, Ohio; four nephew; seven nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. Rest Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Hooks and Rev. Clevester Rolfe officiating. Burial with military honors was in PineyGroveCemetery under the direction of Hamburg Funeral Home of Ashdown, Ark.
