He was born August 9, 1938, at the old home place to Aubrey Fletcher Graves and Henrietta Avis Latimer Graves who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Blane Graves and Jimmie Anne Graves of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Anna and Nicholas Graves of Texarkana; two sisters, Betty Williams of Lockesburg, Ark., and and Mary Ann Mayo of Petrolia, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Sondra Graves of Lockesburg, Ark.; several nieces and nephews; and his constant companion, Bridget.
Benny was retired from GTE and a veteran of the Korean War. Benny loved talking about his grandkids, hunting, fishing, and sitting on the front porch.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Ark.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Belleville Cemetery with Bro. Don Jones officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Ark.
