David Osborne, 77, of Ashdown, Ark., died Friday, March 30, 2018.
He was born January 31, 1941, in Heber Springs, Ark., to the late Susie and Thomas Osborne.
He was a graduate of the Fordyce High School and a member of the Redbug football team that won three consecutive state championships under legendary head coach Red Parker. He was a veteran of the USAF and a member of Central Baptist Church in Ashdown. Mr. Osborne was a Christian man who loved the Lord and his family dearly. He loved coaching youth baseball, hunting, fishing, and singing in his younger days.
Mr. Osborne is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Osborne; children, Wendelyn Osborne, Steve Osborne, and Lance and wife, Katrina Osborne; grandchildren, Madyson, Kyle, Hayden, Caleb, Kinley, and Ashton; brothers, Richard, Norman, and Paul Osborne; and sisters, Waynette Shuler and Sarah Soto.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at Central Baptist Church in Ashdown, Ark. Cremation Arrangements entrusted to Arkansas Cremation.
