Feral hog control workshop planned

A feral hog control workshop will be held at Horatio Elementary School Cafeteria on Thursday, March 15, starting at 5:30 p.m.

The evenings schedule is as follows:

5:30 p.m. – Registration & Dinner

6 p.m. – Welcome by Sherry Beaty-Sullivan and Rex Herring, County Extension Agents-Little River & Sevier

6:05 p.m. – Natural History & Damage Identification –Sherry Beaty-Sullivan, Little River Co. Agent

6:30 p.m. – Rules & Regulations – Dr. Becky McPeake, Extension Wildlife Biologist

7 p.m. – Using Trail Cameras for Feral Hog Surveillance & Successful Trapping Demonstrations – Rex Herring, Sevier Co. Agent

8 p.m. – Panel Discussions

8:30 p.m. – Program Evaluations, Door Prizes, Adjourn

The meal and door prizes are sponsored by Arkansas Forestry Association.
