FHS Math Completers

The Foreman High School Mathematics Department recognized five seniors on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, for successful completion of the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus AB course of study. To obtain this honor, students must complete a rigorous curriculum of mathematics coursework, consisting of: Pre-AP Algebra I, Pre-AP Geometry, Pre-AP Algebra II, Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry, & AP Calculus AB. Students earning this designation are recognized with a certificate of achievement and honor cords to wear at the commencement ceremony. This year, students earning this distinction include (from left): Sam Gamble, CJ Green, Zack Carver, Alex Carver, and Makayla McCombs. Sam Gamble was also recognized as the 2018 AP Calculus AB award recipient as well as the recipient of the Overall Mathematics award given by the math department. AP Calculus AB is taught at Foreman High School by Mr. Michael Sierra.
