Jabrea Walker, of Foreman, Ark., was recognized at Southern Arkansas University’s 37th Annual Residence Hall Association Honors & Awards Banquet on April 11, 2018.

Walker, a sophomore Biology: Pre-Health major, was presented with the Desk Assistant of the Year Award for Bussey Hall.

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a student-governed organization that represents all students living on SAU campus. The organization promotes on-campus living and community development through various programs and interest groups, as well as provides leadership opportunities on hall councils.

For the past five years, record numbers of students have chosen to live on SAU’s campus to enjoy the complete college and residential living experience. With this record growth, University Housing added four new residence halls since 2016, and construction will begin on another hall this year.
