Roy Dale Fry ~ Ashdown, Ark.

Roy Dale Fry, 83, of Ashdown, Ark., died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at his home.

He was born March 19, 1935, in Levelland, Texas. He was a retired millwright mechanic for Georgia Pacific and was a member of the Fulton Church of Christ. He also served in the United States Army.

Mr. Fry was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Frazier and Erdine Conaster Fry; one infant son, baby boy Fry; one son, Jason Dale Fry; one brother, Eddie Fry; and a mother-in-law, Josephine Curtis.

He is survived by his wife Jo Carolyn Curtis Fry; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Rhonda and Rob Shuptrine, Kriste Jameson, Theresa and Noel Andino, Jan and Keith White, and Misty and Matt Valentin; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary McIntosh and Larry and Tammie Fry; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jimmy and Doris Fry and Terry Fry; 24 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law, Gale and Leon Adams, Jan Kidd, and Carla Quarterman; and a brother-in-law, Jack and Beverly Curtis.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Central Baptist Church in Ashdown, Ark.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lockesburg, Ark., with son, Larry Fry and brother, Jimmy Fry officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Ark.
