Coca-Cola Relays

The Ashdown Panther and Pantherette track teams traveled to Nashville on Tuesday, April 17, to compete in the Coca-Cola Relays.

In the boys’ division, Lake Hamilton won the meet with 108.5 points. Ashdown was second with 94 points. Prescott was third with 79 points. Nashville was fourth with 73.5 points and Arkansas High was fifth with 70 points.

In the running events, Ladarius Bishop was fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.30.

Kavarciay Rhone was fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.54.

Elijah Thomas was fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.87.

Tre Green was second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.54 and second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 42.68.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of Delrae Smith, Shuntori Montue, Lamar Wilkerson and Patrick Christopher was seventh with a time of 44.86.

The Panthers’ 4×200-meter relay team of Smith, Wilkerson, Taylon Robinson and Mark Covington was fifth with a time of 1:36.01.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Rhone, Anthony Hopkins, Robinson and Covington was fifth with a time of 3:40.00.

The Panthers’ 4×800-meter relay team of Thomas, Brayden Gibson, Rhone and Caleb Murray was second with a time of 8:40.50.

In the field events, Anthony Nelson won the high jump with a height of 6-feet. Wilkerson was fourth with a height of 6-feet as well.

Nelson was fifth in the long jump with a distance of 19-feet, 3-inches.

Green won the triple jump with a distance of 45-feet, 5-inches. Nelson was fifth with a distance of 41-feet.

Chris French was second in the shot with a distance of 49-feet, 7.5-inches.

Gary Johnson was seventh in the pole vault with a height of 10-feet, 6-inches.

In the girls’ division, Lake Hamilton won the meet with 137 points. Arkansas High was second with 122 points. Broken Bow was third with 83 points. Genoa Central was fourth with 74 points. Camden Fairview rounded out the top five with 64 points. Ashdown was sixth with 61 points.

In the running events, Cheyenne Hobson was sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.29. Vonjoy Thomas was eighth with a time of 13.38.

Hobson was seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.59.

Taneka Hamilton was fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:07.40.

Lainee Young was seventh in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 14:26.82.

Jasmyn Smith was eighth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.69.

Aleya Hill was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 52.24.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of Thomas, Hobson, Ebony Hawkins and Jukarra Greenlee was sixth with a time of 52.76.

The Pantherettes’ 4×200-meter relay team of Colyn Grimes, Davina Gaines, Jade Kendrick and Kylie Cross was fourth with a time of 2:02.16.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Grimes, Hamilton, Gaines and Cross was seventh with a time of 4:43.68.

The Pantherettes’ 4×800-meter relay team of Young, Hamilton, Kendrick and Gaines was fifth with a time of 12:20.07.

In the field events, Smith was second in the high jump with a height of 4-feet, 10-inches. Greenlee was fifth with a height of 4-feet, 8-inches.

Hill was seventh in the long jump with a distance of 14-feet, 8.5-inches.

Greenlee was third in the triple jump with a distance of 34-feet, 2-inches. Vonee Thomas was eighth with a distance of 32-feet, 1-inches.

Porsha Randle was fifth with a heave of 33-feet, 1-inch. Cross was eighth with a distance of 31-feet, 9-inches.

Paige Smith was fifth in the pole vault with a height of 7-feet, 6-inches. Chloe Anderson was sixth with a height of 7-feet, 6-inches as well.

7AA West Junior District Meet

The Foreman Junior Gators and Lady Gators had great showings Tuesday, April 17, as they both finished in the top four of the 7AA West Junior District Meet at Magnet Cove.

In the girls’ division, Murfreesboro won the meet with 170 points. Magnet Cove was second with 140 points. Foreman was third with 132 points. Cutter Morning Star was fourth with 99 points and Caddo Hills was fifth with 24 points.

In the running events, Makiya Walker won the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.94. Samantha Douglas was seventh with a time of 14.71.

Walker also won the 200-meter dash with a time of 30.61. Erin Pulliam was eighth with a time of 32.56.

Douglas was sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 35.97.

Kasey Dinwiddie was seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:17.78.

Rhiannon Poole was sixth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 7:28.76.

Lyndee Whitecotton was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 20.71. Carson Crumpton was eighth with a time of 21.52.

Whitecotton was fifth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.45. Crumpton was sixth with a time of 1:02.48.

Foreman’s 4×100-meter relay team of Pulliam, Whitecotton, Douglas and Walker was third with a time of 59.42.

The Lady Gators’ 4×400-meter relay team of Walker, Douglas, Whitecotton and MykaLynn Dawson was third with a time of 5:10.43.

Foreman’s 4×800-meter relay team of Ashalin Casper, Trista Martin, Allei Merrell and Poole was third with a time of 14:59.51.

In the field events, Walker was third in the long jump with a distance of 13-feet, 7-inches. Whitecotton was seventh with a distance of 12-feet, 5-inches. Dawson was eighth with a distance of 12-feet, 8-inches.

Walker won the triple jump with a distance of 30-feet. Whitecotton was third with a distance of 27-feet, 2.5-inches. Martin was fifth with a distance of 23-feet, 10-inches. Crumpton was seventh with a distance of 23-feet, 5-inches.

Masea Billingsly was third in the discus with a heave of 62-feet, 6-inches. Abbey Hoffman was fourth with a distance of 56-feet, 8-inches. McKayla Hardwrick was fifth with a distance of 54-feet, 5-inches. Olivia Lansdell was seventh with a distance of 52-feet, 6-inches.

Billingsly won the shot put with a distance of 29-feet, 11-inches. Hoffman was second with a distance of 28-feet, 10-inches. Lansdell was fourth with a distance of 26-feet, 6.5-inches.

In the boys’ division, Magnet Cove won the meet with 130 points. Poyen was second with 125 points. Caddo Hills was third with 98.5 points. Foreman was fourth with 79 points and Murfreesboro was fifth with 71.5 points.

In the running events, Shamar Kemp was fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.28.

Chris Haywood was fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.97.

Haywood won the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.27.

Dejames Powell was fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 19.76.

Foreman’s 4×100-meter relay team of Kemp, Andrew Gwin, Keantie Olglesby and Powell was second with a time of 49.87.

The Gators’ 4×400-meter relay team of Haywood, Gwin, Ty Maughan and Powell was third with a time of 4:08.35.

Foreman’s 4×800-meter relay team of Corbin Coffey, Maughan, Matthew Roden and Curtis Young was seventh with a time of 11:52.46.

In the field events, Haywood was second in the long jump with a distance of 17-feet, 11-inches. Olglesby was sixth with a distance of 16-feet, 8-inches.

Powell was fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 31-feet, 7.5-inches. Olglesby was seventh with a distance of 31-feet, 3-inches.

Nick Moss won the discus with a hurl of 126-feet, 1-inch.

Daylon Haley was second in the shot put with a heave of 36-feet, 4-inches. Kaleb ‘Bubba’ Kegley was fifth with a distance of 33-feet, 5-inches. Moss was eighth with a distance of 31-feet, 9-inches.

7AAAA Junior District Meet

The Ashdown junior Panthers and Pantherettes hosted the 7AAAA Junior District meet on Thursday, April 19.

In the boys’ division, Nashville won the meet with 214 points. Ashdown was second with 152.5 points. Mena was third with 85.5 points. Bauxite and Joe T. Robinson rounded out the top five with 77 and 55 points respectively.

In the running events, Braylon Bishop was fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.61. Jacolby Williams was sixth with a time of 11.74.

Kameron Benton was third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.97. Landon Wright was sixth with a time of 57.82.

Desmond Cornelius won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:19.01. Ford Young was second with a time of 2:20.19.

Jacolby Williams was third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.63. Seth Reed was fourth with a time of 18.22. Peyton Williams was sixth with a time of 18.77.

Reed was third in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.03. Peyton Williams was sixth with a time of 48.28.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of Jayden Fricks, Montez Harris, Kyron Benton and Reed was fourth with a time of 48.48.

The Panthers’ 4×200-meter relay team of Josh Ripley, Xavier Sanders, Kyron Benton and Wright was third with a time of 1:42.52.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Kameron Benton, Reed, Trent Roberts and Wright was third with a time of 4:03.27.

The Panthers’ 4×800-meter relay team of Memphis Holland, Johnny Hart, Dillon Rose and Javon Hart was third with a time of 10:15.44.

In the field events, Kameron Benton was third in the high jump with a height of 5-feet, 5-inches. Montez Harris was fourth with a height of 5-feet, 2-inches.

Ben Adkison was fifth in the pole vault with a height of 9-feet, 6-inches. Trent Roberts was seventh with 8-feet, 6-inches and the Ford Young was eighth with 8-feet.

Bishop was second in the long jump with a distance of 18-feet, 11-inches.

Bishop was third in the triple jump with a distance of 39-feet, 2.5-inches. Jacolby Williams was third with a leap of 37-feet, 10-inches. Peyton Williams was eighth with a distance of 34-feet, 8.5-inches.

Vincent Jones won the shot put with a distance of 44-feet, 10-inches. Jaylan Belcher was third with 42-feet, 2-inches. Javon Allen was fourth with 41-feet, 7-inches.

Alex Keilbach was second in the discus with a heave of 129-feet, 6-inches. William Ford was fourth with a distance of 120-feet, 6-inches.

In the girls’ division, Nashville won the meet with 243.5 points. Mena was second with 144 points. Ashdown was third with 89.5 points. Arkadelphia and Malvern rounded out the top five with 70.5 and 56.5 points respectively.

In the running events, Jasmine Young was second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:09.44.

Jeana Paredes was seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:57.90. Kaylee Parker was eighth with a time of 2:58.50.

Parker was fifth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:34.58.

Tranyia Ross was eighth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 19.70.

Ta’Janae Green was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 55.95.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of Alicia Diggles, Ross, Zoie Hurd and Trinity Riley was fourth with a time of 56.99.

The Pantherettes’ 4×200-meter relay team of Hurd, Jessica Crussell, Journey Pope and Jasmine Young was third with a time of 2:03.20.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Young, Riley, Crussell and Paredes was fifth with a time of 5:07.52.

The Pantherettes’ 4×800-meter relay team of Paredes, Parker, Chevi Flournoy and Emilee McDowell was second with a time of 11:39.42.

In the field events, Paredes was third in the pole vault with a height of 7-feet. Pope was eighth with a height of 6-feet, 6-inches.

Ross was fourth in the long jump with a distance of 14-feet, 7-inches. Hurd was fifth with a distance of 14-feet, 2-inches. Raven Pounds was seventh with a distance of 13-feet, 11-inches.

Green was sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 29-feet, 10-inches. Ross was seventh with a distance of 27-feet, 9-inches.

Laiken Grimes was second in the shot with a heave of 34-feet, 4-inches. Jaimya Northcross was fifth with a distance of 32-feet, 9-inches. Andria Ricks was sixth with a distance of 31-feet, 11-inches.

Ariel Shumake was second in the discus with a hurl of 80-feet, 6-inches. Keely Turner was seventh with a distance of 74-feet, 2-inches.

Doc Walker Relays

The Ashdown Panthers and Pantherettes wrapped up the regular season on Friday as they traveled to Arkansas High in Texarkana to participate in the Doc Walker Relays.

In the girls’ division, Arkansas High won the meet with 207 points. Magnolia was second with 118 points. De Queen was third with 94 points. Ashdown was fourth with 81 points and the Arkansas High JV was fifth with 49 points.

In the running events, Cheyenne Hobson was seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.60.

Taneka Hamilton was seventh in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:06.80.

Lainee Young was seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:44.72.

Carsen Jones was seventh in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 7:29.93.

Jayda Bryan was seventh in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 15:14.64. Ashlynn Johnston was eighth with a time of 15:29.23.

Jasmyn Smith was seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.15.

Smith was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 56.10. Ta’Janae Green was seventh with a time of 57.70. Colyn Grimes was eighth with a time of 58.78.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Kylie Cross, Taneka Hamilton, Davina Gaines and Grimes was second with a time of 4:43.20.

The Pantherettes’ 4×800-meter relay team of Lainee Young, Aliana Lewis, Jones and Angel Hamilton was fourth with a time of 12:52.37.

In the field events, Jasmyn Smith won the high jump with a height of 4-feet, 8-inches. Jade Kendrick was fifth with a height of 4-feet, 4-inches.

Chloe Anderson won the pole vault with a height of 8-feet. Young was third with a height of 7-feet. Paige Smith was fourth with a height of 6-feet, 6-inches.

Cambre McCullough was fifth in the long jump with a distance of 14-feet, 10-inches. Kendrick was eighth with a distance of 14-feet, 4.5-inches.

McCullough was eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 31-feet, 7.75-inches.

Cross was sixth in the shot put with a distance of 31-feet, 7-inches.

Ashlyn Harger was fourth in the discus with a distance of 96-feet, 6-inches.

In the boys’ division, Magnolia won the meet with 133.5 points. Arkansas High was second with 131.5 points. Pine Bluff was third with 84 points. Nashville was fourth with a 54 points and Ashdown was fifth with 51 points.

In the running events, Shuntori Montue was seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.34.

Elijah Thomas won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:05.64. Brayden Gibson was second with a time of 2:07.98. Kavarciay Rhone was fifth with a time of 2:13.53.

Caleb Murray was seventh in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:35.74.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of Delrae Smith, Taylon Robinson, Mark Covington and Rhone was seventh with a time of 46.24.

In the field events, Gary Johnson was sixth in the pole vault with a height of 10-feet, 6-inches.

Anthony Nelson was fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 40-feet, 5-inches.

Chris French won the shot with a distance of 49-feet, 7-inches.
