Junior Scrapper Relays

The Ashdown junior Panthers and Pantherettes as well as the Foreman Gators and Lady Gators traveled to Nashville on Tuesday, April 2, to compete in the Junior Scrapper Relays.

In the girls’ division, Nashville won the meet with 137 points. Magnolia was second with 114 points. De Queen was third with 89 points. Ashdown was fourth with 71 points. Mena was fifth with 70 points. Foreman was ninth with 23 points.

In the running events, Ashdown’s Trinity Riley was fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.93. Foreman’s Kyla McElroy was sixth with a time of 30.17.

In the 400-meter dash, Foreman’s Jade Hardwrick was fifth with a time of 1:09.22. Ashdown’s Jasmine Young was eighth with a time of 1:11.06.

Ashdown’s Jeana Paredes won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:35.87. Teammate Kaylee Parker was eighth with a time of 2:57.51.

Parker was sixth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:31.47. Ashdown’s Jaiden Ford was eighth with a time of 6:42.26.

Foreman’s Lyndee Whitecotton was eighth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 57.89.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of Alicia Diggles, Trinity Riley, Journey Pope and Jessica Crussell finished third with a time of 55.54. Foreman’s 4×100-meter relay team of Erin Pulliam, Mykalynn Dawson, Lyndee Whitecotton and Jade Hardwrick was eighth with a time of 57.55.

Ashdown’s 4×200-meter relay team of Zoie Hurd, Alicia Diggles, Makayla Lawson and Jasmine Young was fourth with a time of 2:03.38.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Kaylee Parker, Jessica Crussell, Journey Pope and Jeana Paredes was sixth with a time of 5:02.38.

Ashdown’s 4×800-meter relay team of Jaiden Ford, Emilee McDowell, Audrey Bishop and Rylee Youngblood was seventh with a time of 12:15.84.

In the field events, Ashdown’s Makayla Lawson was fourth in the high jump with a height of 4-feet, 6-inches.

Foreman’s Jade Hardwrick was third in the long jump with a distance of 14-feet, 6-inches. Ashdown’s Trinity Riley was sixth with a distance of 13-feet, 11-inches.

Foreman’s Jade Hardwrick was second in the triple jump with a distance of 33-feet, 4-inches.

Ashdown’s Jeana Paredes won the pole vault with a height of 8-feet. Teammate Journey Pope was fourth with a height of seven feet.

In the shot, Ashdown’s Laiken Grimes was fifth with a distance of 35-feet, 2-inches. Ashdown’s Andria Ricks was eighth with a distance of 32-feet, 9-inches.

In the discus, Ashdown’s Ariel Shumake was second with a distance of 89-feet, 2-inches. Laiken Grimes was third with a distance of 83-feet, 6-inches.

In the boys’ division, Prescott won the meet with 120 points. Magnolia was second with 107 points. Ashdown was third with 90 points. De Queen was fourth with 66 points. Nashville was fifth with 61 points. Foreman was fifteenth with seven points.

In the running events, Peyton Williams was fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.61. Foreman’s James Powell was seventh with a time of 12.17.

In the 200-meter dash, Ashdown’s Peyton Williams won with a time of 24.18. Foreman’s Andrew Gwin was eighth with a time of 25.72.

Ashdown’s Ford Young was second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.25. Ashdown’s Landon Wright was sixth with a time of 58.26.

Ashdown’s Javon Hart was fifth in the 1,600-meter run with a time 5:26.78.

Ashdown’s Peyton Williams was third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.77. Foreman’s James Powell was seventh with a time 18.70.

Ashdown’s Shamar Easter was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 48.73.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of Jayden Fricks, Xavier Sanders, Jonathan McElroy and Peyton Williams was fourth with a time of 47.37.

Ashdown’s 4×200-meter relay team of Jayden Fricks, Malik Muldrew, Kaiden Winfrey and Jonathan McElroy was fourth with a time of 1:43.03.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Ford Young, Landon Wright, Shamar Easter and Trent Roberts won with a time of 3:52.47.

Ashdown’s 4×800-meter relay team of Johnny Hart, Javon Hart, Dillon Rose and Jason Green was fifth with a time of 10:03.38.

In the field events, Ashdown’s Shamar Easter was third in the high jump with a height of 5-feet, 6-inches. Teammate Tony House was fourth with a height of 5-feet, 4-inches. Foreman’s Hunter Fowler was seventh with a height of 5-feet, 2-inches.

Ashdown’s Peyton Williams was seventh in the long jump with a leap of 17-feet, 8-inches.

Ashdown’s Jonathan McElroy was eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 36-feet, 1.5-inches.

In the pole vault, Ashdown’s Trent Roberts won the pole vault with a height of 10-feet, 6-inches. Teammate Dalton Russell was eighth with a height of 8-feet, 6-inches.

Ashdown’s Adrian Fondren was sixth in the shot with a heave of 41-feet, 4-inches.

Senior Scrapper Relays

On Thursday, April 11, the senior Ashdown Panthers and Pantherettes traveled to Nashville to compete in the Senior Scrapper Relays.

In the girls’ division, Arkansas High won the meet with 119 points. Broken Bow was second with 114 points. Lake Hamilton was third with 85 points. Magnolia was fourth with 78 points. De Queen was fifth with 70 points. Ashdown was sixth with 61 points.

In the running events, Jukarra Greenlee was eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time 13.93.

Brooklyn Smith was sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:07.33.

Lainee Young was seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:48.28.

Carsen Jones was seventh in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:33.47.

Ashdown’s 4×100-meter relay team of VonJoy Thomas, Tania Calloway, Porsha Randle and Jukarra Greenlee was fourth with a time 53.27.

Ashdown’s 4×200-meter relay team of Colyn Grimes,Tania Calloway, Ebony Hawkins and VonJoy Thomas was third with a time of 2:01.23.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Brooklyn Smith, Tania Calloway, Colyn Grimes and Taneka Hamilton was sixth with a time of 4:49.91.

Ashdown’s 4×800-meter relay team of Lainee Young, Davina Gaines, Taneka Hamilton and Carsen Jones was sixth with a time of 12:15.90.

In the field events, Jukarra Greenlee was third in the high jump with a height of 4-feet, 8-inches. Jasmyn Smith was fourth with a height of 4-feet, 8-inches.

In the long jump, Porsha Randle was third with a distance of 15-feet, 10-inches. Jukarra Greenlee was eighth with a distance of 14-feet, 8-inches.

In the triple jump, Jukarra Greenlee was fourth with a leap of 34-feet, 0.5-inches.

Lainee Young was seventh in the pole vault with a height of 6-feet, 6-inches.

In the shot, Porsha Randle was fourth with a distance of 33-feet, 7-inches.

In the discus, Blaire Gentry was fifth with a distance of 102-feet, 3-inches. Kylie Cross was seventh with a distance of 91-feet, 9-inches.

In the boys’ division, Arkansas High won the meet with 102 points. Magnolia was second with 100 points. De Queen was third with 97 points. Lake Hamilton was fourth with 93 points. Nashville was fifth with 73 points. Ashdown was tenth with 20 points.

In the running events, Shuntori Montue was third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.44. Jacolby Williams was eighth with a time of 11.90.

Shuntori Montue was sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.90.

Jacolby Williams was eighth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.56.

Ashdown’s 4×400-meter relay team of Anthony Hopkins, Brayden Gibson, Tate Hooper and Memphis Holland was seventh with a time of 3:55.63.

Ashdown’s 4×800-meter relay team of Brayden Gibson, Memphis Holland, Perry Erkabryne and Braden Cross was eighth with a time of 10:18.78.

Jacolby Williams was seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 40-feet, 4-inches.

Vincent Jones was fifth in the shot with a heave of 43-feet, 11-inches.
